Pale Yellow Dress, Copper and Tan • Spring Outfit

Lemon Dungaree Dress and Copper T-shirt | Fake Fabulous

I'm wearing real clothes today (no joggers in sight) and surprisingly, I didn't make any of them myself.

I've been making a lot of crafty clothes recently but none of them are in this look.
I thought it was time to give the handmade look a break for a few days!

I'm wearing a little bit of sunshine today.
A pale yellow linen dress and a copper-coloured knitted tee.
(Not made by me!)

To be honest with you, this t-shirt looks nice enough BUT the fabric is probably a poly-mix (no label, so I'm not sure) and it can be a bit "sweaty".

Polyester yarn has that annoying ability to make you sweaty and, worse than sweaty, a bit whiffy!

Polyester is not very practical for a real summer day but okay for chilly spring-time in Scotland.

A khaki utility jacket toughens things up just enough but overall this feels like a really feminine outfit.

    1. Thank you Monica! 😘 This top is (just) warm enough for Scotland but wouldn't work under your sunshine.... I'd be a sweaty mess!! 😂

    1. Thank you Lise. Since wearing it here I've shortened the straps a little. I felt they looked a bit droopy and I don't need any help with drooping!! 😂

    1. We are very changeable Eva. Warm one day 18 degrees then back down to 9 degrees the next! Layers are always the answer and a cardigan is never very far away 😁

  4. Lovely in linen! I did a linen jacket today and it felt wonderful. I adore your layering here - weather in my part of the world is insanely changeable, so a light jacket is always needed, plus camisoles, and thin sweaters. That pale yellow is perfect with your colouring, Samantha!

    1. Thank you Sheila.... 8m never sure what colours really suit me. I think it's easy to see other people but harder to see yourself. Do you agree?? X
