I'm getting a little fed up with my Winter woollies and dark clothing BUT it's far too cold for cotton, linen and spring-like fabrics.
What can I do?
The perfect solution is to pick warm fabrics in light Spring colours.
This outfit is the perfect Spring cheat!
A fab pair of cosy cashmere culottes and this beautifully soft cashmere jumper makes for a lightweight looking outfit that is so cosy and warm to wear.
Especailly after layering up some cosy thermals underneath.
The sun is shining and the snowdrops have bloomed.
Spring is definitely on its way!

You appear to be as comfortable as you are beautiful in these lovely soft shades of yellow, grey and white. I think your scheme to spread the psychologically benefits of wearing colors that bode of Spring is a good one Sam.
ReplyDeleteI have great respect for your ability to bring "big picture" wisdoms to fashion choices. You're a bit of a sociologist in predicting the positive impact of seemingly small acts of artful, and mindful self expression. I just love that about you Samantha!!
Happy Valentine's Day! A "thing" for Scottish folk or no?
Thank you so much Judy!
DeleteYes Valentines is a thing here too, although we tend not to go crazy with it. It's my birthday two days afterwards so I always feel that's more important :oP

Grey and pale yellow together are one of my most favourite colour combinations. I don't wear either colour particularly well, but I love the two together. It looks amazing on you, and looks super cozy... xx
ReplyDeleteIt's a classic isn't it Lisa? No thought required :oP
DeleteI could imagine you looking beautiful in dove grey and soft lemon.
I'm curious...do you feel some yellows make your blonde hair look yellowy? If that makes sense?!

oooo! I love the ruffled pumas Sam! Up my alley! I bought a pair last year without the ruffles and am ready to wear myself! The soft butter yellow is very pretty on you!

AHHH I am uhbsessed with this outfit! I would absolutely wear this outfit myself (I just need to add a hijab and longer socks!). I don't have much yellow in my closet but I'm definitely re-thinking this lemon yellow shade, it's just so sweet yet has so much impact. And ugh allow me to fawn all over those sneakers Samantha because I LOVE THEM SO MUCH, look at those adorable tiny ruffles on the sides!!! <3<3<3
